Central Park Sunset

Summer keeps right on going, another hot and humid day well into September. But the ragged lines of sun showers running up the Jersey shore and through New York gave us a most beautiful sunset that just kept on giving.  Starting with the lovely orange disk of the setting sun casting a beautiful golden light on the blurry drifts of rain still in the air, to a sky-filling multi-layered reds and purples, that took a long time to fade into the night. Taken at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, Central Park, New York.
